Payment Policies

At Smile Design Costa Rica, our commitment is to provide you with high-quality care and complete transparency at every stage of your treatment. That’s why we have established a clear and accessible payment policy, allowing our patients to plan their treatments in an informed and safe manner.

1. Accepted payment methods

  • Cash (Costa Rican colones or U.S. dollars)
  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • International bank transfers (must be completed 3 days before the appointment)
  • Electronic payments through authorized platforms (payment link)

2. Advance payments and reservations

Some procedures require an advance deposit to confirm your appointment or reserve space in the operating room or laboratory.

  • The deposit amount will be deducted from the total treatment cost.
  • In case of cancellation outside the established timeframe, this deposit may be non-refundable (see Cancellation Policy).

3. Installment payments

For extensive treatments or those carried out in multiple sessions, we offer the option of installment payments, based on treatment progress and prior agreement with administration.

4. Quotes and validity

  • All quotes are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice, unless there is a signed agreement and/or a deposit has already been made.

5. Medical or dental insurance

If you have international medical or dental insurance, we will gladly provide the necessary documentation for you to submit your reimbursement request to your insurance provider.
